E-Bike Warranty:

We confidently stand beside the quality of our e-bikes including quality of build, quality of parts and quality of components.

We have high standards. We use independent quality control inspectors during manufacturing; we use durable, high-quality parts for reliability and longevity; we inspect and test every e-bike before it's shipped.

However, some issues can only be revealed with time and actual riding conditions.

Acey DC E-Bikes Warranty Service

The following warranty provides each original owner of an Acey DC E-Bike with a Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, as stated below:

5 Years – The frame
2 Years – Parts, battery and components
1 Year – seat and tires

Batteries will be replaced on a pro-rated basis beginning month seven from date of sale.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects, not wear and tear caused by general usage.

For example, if your tires are worn from extensive riding and braking, but do not fail from a manufacturing defect, the warranty expires with the product's useful life cycle.

Parts with expected wear in proportion to usage include, but are not limited to:

Paint
Fenders
Suspension forks
Spokes
Seats and suspension seat posts
Tires
Groupsets (derailleur, shifter, chain, chain ring, cranks, pedals, gears, brakes)
Brake pads and discs
Moving or rubbing rubber or plastic parts
Cables and cable sleeves
Bar grips
Chain guide
Bulbs
Exposed wiring
Water resistant seals
Bearings
All other mechanical parts which experience movement or friction.

Maintenance and inspection of these parts is critical to maximizing their usage life and your safety. Your owner’s manual has a suggested maintenance schedule to follow.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

Normal wear and tear.
Improper assembly.
Shipping damage/scratches (shipments are insured).
Improper storage of battery.
Failure to protect.
Improper maintenance.
Water submersion
Acts of climate or nature
Installation of non-original components or parts.
Damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect.
Use as rentals
Extreme riding such as stunts and jumping.
Using any charger not supplied by Acey DC E-Bikes.
Unauthorized changes to electrical system components or programming.
Modifications to the fork, frame or any component or part.
Labor charges for part replacement.

This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective item, and said repair or replacement is the sole remedy of the warranty. This warranty begins on the date of shipping, is offered only to the original registered owner and is not transferable. This warranty applies only to products purchased directly through Acey DC E-Bikes.

Acey DC E-Bikes is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages.

If parts are exchanged, you agree that the part you send us becomes our property and the part we send you is your property.

All warranties are passed through from the manufacturers. Acey DC E-Bikes controls neither the terms nor conditions of any warranty or warranty claims. We may, not by policy but at our discretion, choose to resolve issues outside of warranty procedures on a case-by-case basis. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.

An e-bike must be registered with Acey DC E-Bikes before a warranty claim may be processed. Proof of purchase may be requested as well as information about the problem or a request for photos and video to help diagnose the issue.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and those rights may vary from place to place. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights or your right to pursue warranty claims directly with a manufacturer.

Updated 9/16/2022 to add a 5 year frame warranty and extend our normal warranty from 18 months to 2 years. No other changes made. Effective as of 09/16/2022 but does not supersede the warranty in effect during purchase.
